What is American?

Dear Reader,

What is American? Well, to sum it all up it is a-mere-i-can dream. This is the land of opportunity. Most people who have read about our country desire to at least visit one day. One visit has turned into finding a job, educating themselves in our culture, building a family and embedding themselves into what we describe as the American Dream.
So many People have come to America to work for their families back home. America is one of the few nations that has a minimum wage in place that's over 10,000 a year. Although Americans may think that's pennies on a dollar, is actually a substantial amount in other countries such as India, where one American dollar is worth about 45 rupee.
When people from other countries come to America the anxiety to learn about our country and our culture as well as our language is multiplied. It not only becomes more interesting to learn, but it become important to live and survive, especially with the language barriers. Although this is an English speaking nation we have adopted other languages and cultures as our own because of the people who have made America their home.
Building Families have been a big apart of those who seek out the American dream. Whether one traveled alone and married once they found love, or they sent for their families once citizenship was established, having a family is apart of most of their goals.
The dreams of most that are born here or come here to visit are simple ones. Mainly include being happy, and having something to call our own. This is a great nation even with it not so perfect laws, policies and people but with the right attitude and focus you will see once you get here that I CANT is not an option if you have a -mere-i -can dream.

Your Cordially Invited,
Deveice Cater
